A devastating fire has destroyed several properties at the Juaboso Market in the Western North Region, reducing five stores to ashes. The incident occurred earlier today.
Eyewitnesses reported that the fire started in one shop before spreading rapidly to nearby stores due to the close arrangement of structures and the presence of flammable materials.
The affected shops belonged to fashion designers, hairstylists, and second-hand goods dealers, with all items inside completely destroyed.
Although the cause of the fire is yet to be determined, officers from the Ghana National Fire Service in Juaboso have begun investigations. Fortunately, no casualties have been reported.
