At the Baba Yara Stadium, ten-man Asante Kotoko edged past King Faisal with a hard-earned 1–0 victory.

Kingsley Braye produced a sensational hat-trick to power the home side to victory, while Gideon Anaba scored a late consolation for the visitors.

In Tamale, Tamale City progressed in dramatic fashion, eliminating Karela United 14–13 on penalties after a goalless draw in regulation time.

Penalty shootouts also decided the tie at the Swedru Stadium, where Swedru All Blacks overcame Sefwi All Stars 5–4 after both sides failed to find the net during normal time.
