Emmanuel Nii Commey has officially declared his intention to contest for the position of Deputy National Organizer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in this year’s national party elections.
In a formal statement, Commey said his decision stems from years of active service and commitment to the party at the grassroots level. A private businessman and long-time party member, he promises to bring fresh ideas to strengthen mobilization and prepare the NDC for victory in the 2028 elections.
“My strong grassroots connections and organisational insight will enable me to serve effectively as Deputy National Organizer,” he said.

Commey pledged to work closely with organizers across regional, constituency, and branch levels to reinforce party structures, energize the base, and advance the NDC’s “Reset Agenda” with unity and renewed determination.
He emphasized that a revitalized constituency and regional organization is key to helping the NDC retain both parliamentary and presidential seats in upcoming national elections.
Describing himself as committed, hardworking, experienced, results-oriented, and youth-focused, Commey called on party delegates to support his bid, urging them to “choose experience over experiment.” He also appealed for unity among party members to restore the pride and strength of the NDC at both the constituency and national levels.
