New Patriotic Party (NPP) presidential aspirant and Member of Parliament for Abetifi, Dr Bryan Acheampong, has predicted that communication in the 2028 general elections will be largely driven by artificial intelligence (AI).

Speaking on Asempa FM’s Ekosii Sen show, Dr Acheampong said political parties must adapt to changing conditions and build systems that reflect the future of campaigning.

According to him, electoral dynamics are evolving, stressing that the environment for the 2028 polls will be markedly different from that of 2024.

“Going into the next elections, we have to be agile because the ground conditions will not be the same. We must build systems for change. The 2028 elections, the communication will largely be AI,” he stated.

Dr Acheampong added that party delegates are influenced by shifting conditions and are more likely to support candidates who are attuned to modern trends and capable of leading the party into the future.

He also dismissed claims that any individual has total control over the party’s delegates, noting that “no one has a monopoly over the delegates,” as their preferences continue to evolve with time and circumstances.
