The Eastern Regional President of the Association of Priests, Okomfo Akosua Dedeaa, has warned the public against engaging in sexual activities in open spaces during this year’s Kwahu Easter celebrations.

Speaking to Adom News during a visit to Obo in the Kwahu area, she expressed concern over rising cases of indecent behaviour during festive periods.

She cautioned that markets, schools, bars, streets, and other public spaces must not be turned into centres for immoral acts, particularly as large crowds are expected for the celebrations.

According to Okomfo Akosua Dedeaa, such conduct violates cultural and moral values and could attract spiritual consequences if not addressed.

She urged revelers to exercise discipline, respect public spaces, and celebrate responsibly to ensure a peaceful Easter.

The priestess also called on community leaders and security agencies to remain vigilant and enforce order throughout the festive period.
