Bibiani GoldStars head coach Frimpong Manso has appealed to Ghanaians to rally behind his team as they prepare to face Algerian giants JS Kabylie in the CAF Champions League.
The Ghana Premier League side will host Kabylie in the first leg of the 2025/26 preliminary round on Saturday at the Accra Sports Stadium.
Speaking ahead of the fixture, Manso stressed that strong home support could be crucial in securing a vital advantage before the return leg.
“We are playing in Accra. It’s not our home ground, so we appeal to all Ghanaians who can come to the stadium to support us,” he told Joy Sports.
“They did it for the Black Stars against Mali, and we are confident they will do the same for us. I’m sure if they come in large numbers, we can win — and win well,” he added.
Kick-off is scheduled for 15:00 GMT.
