A heroic truck driver is being celebrated in Nsawam after his quick actions prevented a potentially deadly accident.
The incident occurred when the driver, whose truck experienced brake failure, veered off course and was headed toward a group of residents standing along the roadside.
Thinking fast, he skillfully maneuvered the truck down a sloping road, steering it into a pavement to bring it to a halt without harming anyone.
Witnesses, impressed by his quick decision and courage, applauded him and carried him on their shoulders in gratitude and jubilation.
Shortly after, police officers arrived at the scene to ensure order.
Community members praised the driver’s bravery, noting that his swift actions saved lives and property in what could have been a tragic accident.
