The Bank of Ghana (BoG) has refuted claims of implementing a one percent cybersecurity levy on banking transactions, which has gone viral on social media.
Dismissing these reports as false, the Central Bank emphasized that there were no plans to impose such a levy.
It urged the public to disregard such misinformation and assured them of the integrity of the banking system.
