Minister of Sports and Recreation, Kofi Adams, has confirmed that the Ghana Football Association’s (GFA) technical staff for the Black Stars are owed salaries.

Speaking on Adom FM’s Dwaso Nsem on Wednesday, Mr. Adams revealed that the arrears extend to the team’s physicians and physiotherapists, but noted that the ministry is close to settling the outstanding payments.

The minister clarified that the debts were inherited upon his assumption of office, emphasizing that the current administration is actively working to resolve the issue.

The Black Stars’ technical team includes Otto Addo as head coach, assisted by Joseph Paintsil and Desmond Ofei. Fatau Dauda serves as the goalkeepers’ trainer, while Winfried Schafer holds the role of technical advisor.
