The Member of Parliament for Ahanta West, Mavis Kuukua Bissue, has urged newly recruited nurses to approach their duties with compassion, professionalism, and a strong commitment to patient care.

Speaking during an interaction with the nurses at the polyclinic, the MP emphasized the need to treat every patient with dignity and respect, regardless of their background or circumstances.

“Healthcare is more than medical treatment. It’s about empathy, patience, and understanding the needs of those in our care,” she said.

Madam Bissue encouraged the nurses to serve the polyclinic with dedication, noting that their professionalism and attitude would play a critical role in improving healthcare delivery and strengthening public confidence in the health system.

She expressed confidence in their ability to uphold the highest ethical standards and called on them to view their roles as a service aimed at saving lives and enhancing the wellbeing of the community.
