Nigerian music stars Adekunle Gold and Simi have expanded their family with the arrival of twins, the couple confirmed earlier today through a joyful social media update.
Adekunle Gold broke the news on Snapchat, revealing that a simple prayer for a child turned into a double blessing.
Sharing a photo of two baby outfits, he wrote that he had asked God for another child and received twice the joy, captioning the post “Double Trouble.”
The announcement comes weeks after fans began speculating about a possible pregnancy following Adekunle Gold’s late December 2025 music video, My Love Is The Same.
The video featured Simi visibly pregnant, alongside a touching appearance by their daughter, Adejare, whose presence further fueled curiosity among fans.
Adekunle Gold and Simi, who tied the knot in a private ceremony in January 2019, are already parents to Adejare, popularly called Deja. She was born in May 2020 and famously inspired Simi’s hit song Duduke.
