The Ekuona Royal Family of Parkoso has directed the discontinuation of an ongoing court case following a change in family leadership.

In a formal notice dated March 25, 2026, newly appointed Acting Head of Family, Kwabena Brefo, announced that he has taken over all legal matters concerning the family after the removal of former head, Victor Kofi Owusu Boahene.

The letter, addressed to Baba Jammal & Associates, instructed that the case titled Abusua Panin Kofi Owusu vs Akosua Serwaa Fosuh & 3 Others be discontinued, stating that it does not align with the current intentions of the family.

Mr. Brefo also requested a full inventory of all ongoing legal cases previously handled on behalf of the family by the former head.

He further asked the legal representatives to halt proceedings on the case by March 26, 2026, and to submit any outstanding invoices for services rendered.

The new family head said the decision forms part of efforts to realign the family’s legal affairs under the new leadership.
