Special Aide to the Chief of Staff, Benjamin Essuman, has announced that the third edition of the Kwahu Business Forum 2026 will focus on strengthening collaboration between businesses and financial institutions.
President John Dramani Mahama and Chief of Staff Julius Debrah are expected to attend the forum.
Speaking on Asempa FM’s Ekosii Sen show, he explained that lessons from last year’s forum, which centred on access to capital, are being used to shape this year’s event.
According to him, the 2026 edition will feature deeper engagement between industry players and financiers, with the Governor of the Bank of Ghana expected to attend.
Mr. Essuman noted that the forum will include trade exhibitions with over 200 businesses already registered, policy dialogues, panel discussions, and success stories from entrepreneurs.
He added that the event, scheduled for April 3 to April 5, is expected to attract more than 1,000 participants and will also feature a health walk and sightseeing activities.
The evet is free for participants who register online.
“We are implementing lessons learned from last year into our plans for this year. Last year focused primarily on access to capital, while this year will be unique as we aim to deepen interactions between businesses and financial institutions, fostering synergy among them. The Governor of the Bank of Ghana will be in attendance, which should be an exciting opportunity. We will have trade exhibitions featuring over 200 registered participants from various industries.
“Additionally, there will be policy dialogue and a panel discussion highlighting success stories from the Kwahu Business Forum, along with personal testimonies from business leaders. Following these events, there will be a health walk to encourage well-being.
“The forum will take place from April 3rd to April 5th, and registration is required to attend. You can register at kwahubusinessforum.com. We expect over 1,000 participants, and attendance is free. There will also be plenty of sightseeing opportunities. His Excellency President Mahama and Chief of Staff Julius Debrah will be present, so we encourage you to join us,” he said.
