Ghana forward Ransford-Yeboah Königsdörffer has expressed confidence that the Black Stars will deliver a much-improved performance in their final international friendly against Germany.

The four-time African champions face the European giants on Monday, March 30, in their second preparatory match this window as they continue to build towards the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

Ghana go into the encounter seeking a response after a heavy 5-1 defeat to Austria in their previous outing.

Speaking ahead of the clash, Königsdörffer acknowledged the shortcomings in that performance but insisted the team has worked to address its mistakes.

“Of course, it wasn’t our best game. But tomorrow we want to perform better than in the last game. We made some mistakes in the game against Austria, but we have analysed the mistakes and want to do better. And we keep going. And like the coach said, there was even worse situations here before the last World Cup. And yeah, it’s just a friendly game,” Königsdörffer said.

“So, we made mistakes the other time, and we want to do better tomorrow, and hopefully we can do it,” the forward added.

Kick-off for the match is scheduled for 18:45 GMT.
