Speaker Bagbin pledges support for probe into aircraft crash that killed two brothers in Tema

The Speaker of Parliament, Alban Sumana Bagbin, has assured that Parliament will support efforts to investigate the circumstances surrounding the death of Captain Frank Amoinye Donkor and Elijah Ofori Donkor.

He made the pledge on Saturday, March 28, 2026, as family, friends, and sympathisers gathered to mourn the two brothers, sons of Elder Frank Donkor, founder of the Hebron Prayer Camp.

The Speaker indicated that Parliament is committed to ensuring that the facts surrounding the incident are fully established, not only to bring clarity to the grieving family but also to help prevent similar tragedies in the future.

The two men, Frank Amoaning Donkor and Elijah Donkor lost their lives in a tragic aircraft crash at Tema on Monday, March 16, 2026, an incident that has raised concerns about aviation safety and prompted calls for a thorough investigation.

Speaking on the matter, Mr Bagbin emphasised the need for accountability and transparency in handling the case.

“We are committed to supporting the family to understand exactly what happened and to ensure that such an incident does not occur again,” he said.
