Violence continues to escalate in the Nkwanta South Municipality, with two more people reportedly burnt to death and another sustaining severe cutlass wounds in a fresh attack.

The latest incident follows the earlier killing of three persons on a farm, further heightening fear and tension in the area.

Sources indicate that more than two houses were set ablaze during the attack, leaving several residents displaced and properties destroyed.

The identities of the attackers remain unknown, and the motive behind the renewed violence is still unclear.

Residents, gripped by fear of possible reprisals, are fleeing the municipality in search of safety as the conflict intensifies.

Security agencies have since intensified patrols and investigations, while authorities and community leaders continue to call for calm and urgent intervention to prevent further loss of lives and property.
