Ghana’s U-17 women’s national team, the Black Maidens, will kick off their quest for a place at the FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup with a first-round qualifier against Togo next month.

The tie will be decided over two legs, with the opening encounter scheduled for Sunday, April 12, 2026, at the Stade de Kégué in Lomé. Kickoff is set for 4:00 pm.

The return fixture will take place six days later, on Saturday, April 18, 2026, at the Accra Sports Stadium, where the Maidens will host their West African rivals at 3:30 pm.

The clash forms part of the opening phase of the African qualifiers, as teams across the continent battle for limited slots at the global tournament.

Making a return to the qualification stage after a period away, the Black Maidens will be determined to secure a favourable result on the road before aiming to complete the job on home soil in Accra.
