The Ministry of the Interior Ghana has warned applicants to disregard fraudulent SMS messages circulating about the ongoing recruitment medical screening process.

In a statement, the Ministry, together with recruiting agencies, clarified that no SMS notifications for medical screening have yet been sent to applicants. Official messages are expected to be dispatched between March 29 and March 31, 2026.

Applicants have been urged to remain vigilant and avoid making payments to individuals or unverified sources claiming to facilitate the process.

According to the statement, all legitimate SMS notifications will come from the authorised sender ID “CSERP.”

Payments are to be completed strictly through the secure web checkout system on the portal.

The Ministry stressed that no applicant is required to send money to any mobile money number, warning that such requests are fraudulent.

Members of the public are encouraged to report suspected scams via email at recruitment@mint.gov.gh
