Head coach of Nations FC, Frimpong Manso, has set his sights on securing all three points when his side faces Asante Kotoko on Sunday.
The Abrankese-based club travel to the Baba Yara Stadium for their Matchday 26 encounter against the Porcupine Warriors in what promises to be a fiercely contested fixture.
Kotoko head into the game in inconsistent form, with just one victory in their last five outings, leaving them sixth on the league table. Nations FC, meanwhile, sit two places below in eighth and will be eager to close the gap.
Speaking to the club’s media, Manso—who previously had ties with Kotoko—acknowledged the challenge ahead but insisted his side will approach the game with a winning mentality.
“We will try to go for a win. No matter the situation, we have to do that,” he said.
“We know it’s going to be very tough; we need to work above ourselves if we want a win against Kotoko, and we are going to do that,” Manso added.
Kick-off for the highly anticipated clash is set for 15:00 GMT.
