GBfoods Ghana pays courtesy visit to National Chief Imam during Ramadan

GBfoods Ghana has reaffirmed its commitment to unity, compassion and community support after paying a courtesy visit to the National Chief Imam, His Eminence Sheikh Osmanu Nuhu Sharubutu, during the holy month of Ramadan.

The delegation was warmly received by the Chief Imam and his council of elders, continuing the company’s longstanding relationship with the Muslim community.

During the interaction, the Chief Imam emphasised the shared origin of all people and the importance of religious harmony, noting that diversity should be seen as a source of strength that promotes mutual respect and peaceful coexistence.

Speaking on behalf of GBfoods Ghana, Marketing Director Ewuraba Adusei said the visit formed part of the company’s efforts to support communities during Ramadan.

“Ramadan is a season that calls us to reflect deeply on our faith, generosity, and togetherness,” she said. “Our visit to the Chief Imam reinforces our commitment to standing with the communities we operate in during moments that matter to them.”

She added that the company remains dedicated to providing food products that promote nourishment and strengthen family bonds across the country.

“Throughout this holy month, it is humbling to know that our products have played a key role in the preparation of nutritious meals during Iftar and Suhoor,” she noted.

As part of the visit, GBfoods Ghana donated various food items, including Gino Tomato Mix, Gino Jollof Tomato Seasoning Mix, Gino Peppe & Onion Tomato Seasoning Mix, Gino Hot Pepper Powder, Gino Curry Powder, Didi Shito and Jago Mayonnaise.

Media and Digital Manager Yaa Bonah Danquah Darko highlighted the importance of nutritious meals during Ramadan, noting that the company’s products are designed to meet both nutritional needs and cultural values.

“We believe strongly in the need for quality food products that nourish families every day,” she said. “This donation is a reflection of that goal.”

She added that the products are carefully developed to support families in preparing wholesome meals, especially during the sacred period of fasting.

GBfoods Ghana also highlighted its ongoing Ramadan initiatives, including shared meals and community engagements aimed at strengthening social bonds and promoting unity.

The company expressed appreciation to the Office of the National Chief Imam for its warm hospitality, noting that the consistent welcome over the years has been deeply valued.

GBfoods Ghana extended goodwill wishes to its Muslim consumers nationwide, praying for a joyous Eid-ul-Fitr celebration, peace, health and prosperity for all households.
