The Korle Klottey Municipal Assembly has issued a public notice directing owners of abandoned vehicles and metal scraps to remove them from designated areas within 21 days or risk forfeiture.

The affected locations include areas along the fence wall of the Osu Cemetery and the premises of the Kwame Nkrumah Water Park.

According to the Assembly, the items—comprising broken-down vehicles and metal scraps—have been left unattended for years, despite several attempts to trace their owners for removal.

The Assembly warned that failure to comply within the stipulated 21-day period will result in the removal and disposal of the vehicles and scraps without further notice.

It further stated that it will not be held liable for any loss or damage to the items once the deadline expires.

The Assembly has therefore urged all affected persons and the general public to take note of the directive and comply accordingly.
