The Founder of the Konongo-Zongo-based entertainment group, Support the Youth, Francis Gbemu, popularly known as Horla Kojovie, has hailed Ghanaian superstar Black Sherif as a “goal-getter” following his massive nine nominations for the 2026 Telecel Ghana Music Awards (TGMA).
Gbemu, whose vibrant group was established in 2019 in the Asante Akyem Central Municipality, in an exclusive interview, recalled Black Sherif’s early days as a member.
Speaking on the artiste’s success, Gbemu expressed immense pride, noting that Black Sherif’s latest project, the Iron Boy album, is a strong favourite to sweep its categories.
Support the Youth continues its mission in the Ashanti region to nurture young “champs” in singing, rapping, and dancing, with Black Sherif serving as their most successful blueprint.
For the 2026 TGMA, Black Sherif is one of the most nominated acts for the event scheduled to take place on May 9, 2026, at the Accra International Conference Center.
