What was expected to be a decent panel discussion on Adom FM’s Dwaso Nsem turned into a heated argument between former Mayor of the Kumasi Metropolitan Assembly (KMA), Sam Pyne, and founder of the United Front Party, Akwasi Addai Odike.

Tensions flared during a discussion on road construction across the country. Just before Odike could make his submission, Mr. Pyne interjected, cautioning him against commenting on the state of roads in Ghana.

The former Ashanti Regional New Patriotic Party (NPP) Secretary accused Odike of being part of the previous government’s problems.

Mr. Pyne claimed that Odike had been awarded a road contract in the Ahafo Region, but the project never came to fruition.

“Ask him whether he was able to construct the road that was given to him. Did you do it? Between you and I, we know what happened, so I don’t expect you to comment on this issue,” he lashed out.

Angered by Mr. Pyne’s remarks, Odike warned him to be measured in his words.

The exchanges escalated further, with both men trading personal jabs.
