The Member of Parliament for aso East Constituency”,”Greater Accra, Ghana”], Baba Jamal, has officially handed over his duties at Ghana’s High Commission in Nigeria following his election to Parliament.

Mr. Jamal resigned from his diplomatic post to contest the Ayawaso East parliamentary seat after the passing of the sitting MP, Mahama Naser Toure H.E. John Dramani Mahama for the opportunity to serve, and I am honoured to have worked with the remarkable team at the High Commission,” he stated.

He also expressed optimism about his transition into Parliament and thanked his supporters for their backing.

“I wish my successor every success in this role, and I sincerely appreciate your support and prayers as I begin my new role as Member of Parliament for the Ayawaso East Constituency,” he added.
