The Ghana Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) has launched a Passenger Complaints Portal (PCP) in Accra, providing air passengers with a convenient platform to report travel-related issues and seek redress.

The launch coincided with the commemoration of World Consumer Rights Day 2026, held under the theme “Safe Skies, Confident Passengers.”

The PCP is a digital platform designed to give passengers an accessible channel to lodge complaints when facing challenges during air travel. The initiative reinforces the government’s commitment to protecting passenger rights, strengthening accountability, and building trust in Ghana’s aviation sector.

The Minister of Transport, Joseph Bukari Nikpe, his Deputy Dorcas Affo-Toffey, and other Ministry of Transport officials joined the GCAA for the launch.

Speaking at the event, Minister Nikpe emphasized that as the government works to position Ghana as West Africa’s preferred aviation hub under the leadership of John Dramani Mahama, collaboration among regulators, airlines, and service providers will be essential to ensuring safe skies, confident passengers, and improved service delivery.
