A viral video on social media has captured four men wearing branded Lacoste of Bills Micro Credit, formerly known as Quick Credit, confronting and abusing a woman in her home over an unpaid debt.
In the video, the men, who arrived in a branded company vehicle, were seen engaging in a heated verbal exchange with the woman while she sits with a baby on her lap.
It is alleged that the woman owes the company GH¢300, which she reportedly failed to repay for the past three weeks.
Amidst the confrontation, one of the staff members allegedly seized the woman’s mobile phone while she was still holding the baby. In an attempt to retrieve the phone, she was pushed down together with her baby by one of the men.
A male witness who was angered by the scene also confronted the workers.
The incident captured in the video has since sparked reactions online, with many calling for authorities to investigate the conduct of the individuals involved.
