The Ambassador of the Republic of Liberia to Ghana, H.E. Musu Jatu Ruhle, has extended heartfelt condolences to the family of Austin Tengbe, a 26-year-old Liberian national who was tragically killed by an angry mob in the Lashibi–Sakumono area of the Greater Accra Region.
Ambassador Ruhle expressed deep sympathy to the bereaved family, emphasizing that the government and people of Liberia stand in solidarity with them during this period of grief and national concern.
The Embassy assured Liberians, both in Ghana and at home, that it is actively engaging with the Government of Ghana and relevant security agencies to ensure justice is served.
Ghanaian authorities have commenced investigations into the incident, and the Embassy continues to monitor the matter closely through established legal channels.
While condemning the tragic loss of life, Ambassador Ruhle called on Liberians residing in Ghana to remain calm, peaceful, and law-abiding, stressing the importance of allowing due process to take its course as both governments work together to address the situation.
The Embassy reaffirmed its commitment to the protection and welfare of Liberian citizens abroad and pledged to keep the public informed as developments unfold.
