Patricia Asiedua Asiamah, widely known as Nana Agradaa, has been discharged from Nsawam Prison after spending eight months in custody.

The former fetish priestess-turned-evangelist has reunited with her family following her release.

Her husband, Asiamah, announced the news in a Facebook post on Tuesday, March 3, stating, “Thank God my wife is finally home.”

She is also expected to meet congregants later in the day for fellowship, marking her first public appearance since leaving prison.

Nana Agradaa was handed a 15-year custodial sentence on July 3, 2025, after being found guilty of defrauding by false pretence and engaging in charlatanic advertisement. Her lawyers subsequently appealed the ruling, arguing that the punishment was excessive.

The Amasaman High Court later reviewed the case and reduced the sentence to 12 calendar months, describing the initial term as unduly harsh.

Her release comes in line with Ghana’s remission policy, having served two-thirds of the revised sentence.
