Dr Mohammed Amin Adam, Member of Parliament for Karaga and former Minister of Finance, has praised delegates and supporters of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Northern Region for their exemplary conduct during the party’s recent presidential primaries.
Speaking at the groundbreaking ceremony for the Northern Regional NPP Headquarters in Tamale on February 14, Dr Amin Adam said the peaceful and incident-free nature of the primaries demonstrated once again that the NPP remains Ghana’s most democratic political party.
He noted that the transparent and orderly process reflected the party’s strong commitment to internal democracy and respect for due process.
Dr Amin Adam urged party members to sustain the unity and discipline exhibited during the primaries, stressing that cohesion within the party would be critical ahead of the 2028 general elections.
He called on the NPP rank and file to work collectively towards securing a decisive victory over the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in 2028, emphasizing that reconciliation and unity would position the party strongly for the next electoral contest.
