Hearts of Oak head coach Mas-Ud Didi Dramani has underlined the importance of defeating Asante Kotoko as his side looks to maintain pressure on league leaders Medeama SC.
The Rainbow Club will face their rivals on Sunday at the Baba Yara Stadium in the highly anticipated Super Clash, part of Matchday 22.
Currently seven points adrift of the top spot, Dramani told the club’s media that securing a win is crucial to staying in contention.
“Matches involving Hearts of Oak and Asante Kotoko, devoid of the standards, everybody knows the importance of it, and more importantly, we want to keep the pressure on the league leaders, and so the points at stake are so important to us,” he said.
“We are very focused in terms of what to do in order to be able to achieve that standard of gaining three points,” Dramani added.
Kick-off for the showdown is set for 17:00 GMT.
