Chairman of Asante Kotoko Interim Management Committee (IMC), Nana Apinkrah Akwasi Awuah, has issued a stern warning that the club could undergo significant changes if they falter in their next two fixtures.

The warning comes after Kotoko’s 3-1 defeat to Heart of Lions last weekend at the Kpando Sports Stadium.

The Reds are set to face Aduana FC in the FA Cup Round of 16 on Sunday, February 8, at the Baba Yara Stadium, before taking on their fierce rivals Hearts of Oak in Matchday 22 of the Ghana Premier League next weekend.

Currently fifth on the league table with 34 points, Nana Apinkrah stressed that failure in these matches could lead to adjustments across the technical team, playing squad, and management.

“If we fail to beat Aduana FC and Hearts of Oak, major changes will occur within the team, including the players, technical staff, and management,” he said as reported by Akoma FM.

Asante Kotoko enter the FA Cup clash as the defending champions, aiming to retain their title.
