The Office of the Special Prosecutor (OSP) has announced significant financial recoveries as part of its ongoing anti-corruption initiatives, according to its Half-Yearly Report for December 2025.
The report reveals that the OSP successfully retrieved substantial sums of money and confiscated key movable and immovable assets linked to corruption and related offences.
Among the recoveries, the Office secured US$2,000,000 on behalf of the Minerals Income Investment Fund (MIIF).
Additionally, GH₵8,518,233.00 was recovered in connection with investigations into the diversion of petroleum products.

The OSP emphasized that these recoveries reflect its wider mandate to trace, restrain, confiscate, and recover proceeds of corruption, while promoting transparency and accountability in the management of public resources.
