The family of the late former First Lady, Her Excellency Nana Konadu Agyeman-Rawlings, has strongly refuted the authenticity of a document circulating on social media claiming to be her Will.

In an official statement issued on Tuesday, January 27, 2026, the family described the publication as a “concocted fabrication” and urged the public to treat it with “absolute contempt.”

“The entire publication is a fabrication and should be treated with absolute contempt,” the statement read, emphasizing that the alleged Will did not originate from the family or any authorized source.

The family added that appropriate measures are being taken to address the spread of the false information, although specific details were not immediately provided.

They also appealed to the public and media to respect the dignity and reputation of the former First Lady, noting that the family is still in a period of mourning.

“The Agyeman-Rawlings family is still in a state of mourning and kindly requests all to respect the reputation and dignity of the former First Lady and accord the family the necessary privacy,” the statement added.

The notice was signed by Kobina Andoh Amoakwa on behalf of the family. Nana Konadu Agyeman-Rawlings, a prominent political figure and former First Lady of Ghana, remains a respected national figure, and the family has urged the public to disregard unverified publications circulating online.
