Former Upper Denkyira West MP, Ben Ayeh, has addressed concerns over the temperament of New Patriotic Party (NPP) flagbearer hopeful Kennedy Agyapong, describing his anger as often rooted in principle rather than personal interest.

Speaking on Adom FM’s Dwaso Nsem, Mr. Ayeh explained that the former Assin Central lawmaker’s frustrations frequently arise when advocating for party members’ rights, demanding accountability, or calling out actions that undermine the party’s integrity.

“It is not about his own interest, but about seeking what is right for the party and its members,” he noted.

The senior member of Kennedy Agyapong’s campaign team drew parallels from biblical accounts, citing how Jesus cleared the temple when it had been turned into a marketplace.

He also referenced the story of the Tower of Babel, where God intervened to redirect human actions that strayed from His purpose.

“Sometimes, ensuring that things are done correctly requires firmness,” Ayeh said, urging the public to distinguish between personal temper and principled insistence on justice and proper conduct.
