The National Service Authority (NSA) has released Personal Identification Number (PIN) codes for 6,867 nurses and midwives eligible to enrol for the 2026/2027 national service year.

The release opens registration for professionals who completed their training in 2025, with Thursday, January 23, 2026, set as the deadline for enrolment.

Online registration officially began on Monday, January 19, giving applicants four days to complete the process and secure placement.

Prospective service personnel are required to pay a registration fee of GH¢41.00 via Mobile Money on any network before accessing the enrolment platform. After payment, applicants can retrieve their PIN codes from the NSA website — https://gnsa.gov.gh/home — using their student ID numbers and dates of birth.

The exercise is limited to nurses and midwives who passed the March and April 2025 Licensing Examinations, also known as the minor season, conducted by the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Ghana. The Council submitted the list of qualified candidates to the NSA on Friday, January 16, 2026.

In a statement announcing the PIN release, NSA Director-General Ruth Dela Seddoh urged eligible candidates to act promptly to complete their registration.

She advised prospective personnel to complete the registration process within the stipulated period to avoid being left out of the 2026/2027 national service placement.

The NSA says the PIN-code system is intended to streamline enrolment and ensure that only qualified professionals participate in the national service programme.
