Senior Advisor to the Bawumia Campaign, Anthony Abayifaa Karbo, has described former Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia’s wealth of ideas as his strongest asset in the ongoing campaign.
According to him, Dr Bawumia’s ideas have the potential to transform Ghana’s economy and improve governance.
Speaking on Asempa FM’s Ekosii Sen programme, Mr Karbo said Dr Bawumia has clearly articulated his vision for the country and distinguished himself through innovative policy thinking.
“Dr Bawumia is rich in ideas, and ideas run a nation. His vision is already known, and he has marketed himself through the policies he has championed,” he stated.
Mr Karbo cited the Gold-for-Oil programme as a key example of Dr Bawumia’s ability to think outside the box, noting that the initiative has helped address some of the country’s economic challenges.
He argued that Ghana’s current challenges require fresh thinking rather than the recycling of old ideas, stressing that Dr Bawumia’s emphasis on innovation and digitalisation has the potential to create jobs and drive national development.
“If given the opportunity, the ideas he is bringing, including digitalisation, will truly create jobs and move the country forward,” Mr Karbo added.
