The Minister for Communications, Digital Technology and Innovations, Sam George, has commended his deputy, Mohammed Adams Sukparu, for his pivotal role in strengthening the communications sector.
In a statement on Facebook, Sam George described the Sissala West MP as a “blessing” appointed by President John Dramani Mahama to help steer the Ministry and reposition the sector.
“I am a man blessed by God! One of the many blessings in my life is the gift of exceptional men and women placed in critical positions along my journey. The Hon. Mohammed Adams Sukparu is one such blessing in 2025—a reliable Deputy, hand-picked by H.E. John Dramani Mahama, to help steady the Ministry and advance the sector. It has been a remarkable six months working together,” he wrote.
The Minister added that, despite knowing each other during the 8th Parliament, their partnership has grown stronger in advancing the government’s Reset Agenda.
“He has represented me and the Ministry with distinction both in and outside the country, and the feedback has been splendid,” he said.
Looking ahead, Sam George expressed optimism about further progress in the sector. “Even as we build on the solid foundations we laid last year, I am enthusiastic about what lies ahead. I am not surprised he ranked among the top 10 Deputy Ministers in the latest rankings. Our best is yet to come! For God and Country!”
