The Public Relations Officer of the Ahafo Regional Police Command, Chief Inspector Kwadwo Boakye, has urged applicants in the ongoing police recruitment exercise to stay alert for updates on the next stage of the process.

In an interview with Adom News in Goaso, Chief Inspector Boakye explained that 2,914 applicants who successfully passed the first screening are expected to receive messages from the Ghana Police Service regarding the subsequent phase.

He noted that shortlisted candidates will be contacted either via SMS or through their Google account portals, and stressed the importance of regularly checking these platforms. Applicants who fail to monitor their messages risk missing the next stage and should not hold the Police Service responsible for any lapses.

Chief Inspector Boakye also commended applicants for their discipline and good conduct during the screening, describing the exercise in the region as smooth and successful.

Meanwhile, the Kyidomhene of Kenyasi No. 1, Nana Kwabena Ofori, who observed the process, praised the Police Service for ensuring an incident-free exercise and encouraged them to maintain the same professionalism and efficiency in the remaining stages of recruitment.
