The Ghana Police Service has recovered a Toyota Highlander used in the infamous Adabraka Gold Jewellery Shop robbery that occurred in November 2024.
The retrieval is part of ongoing investigations into the high-profile case.
In a statement, the Police said the vehicle was recovered from its owner, Abdul Samid Larry, popularly known as “Touch,” at Ashaiman Lebanon on January 15, 2026.
The suspect was arrested during the operation, and the Toyota Highlander, identified as an exhibit in the robbery case, was impounded for further investigations.
Larry is currently in lawful custody, assisting police in determining his level of involvement and helping trace other persons connected to the crime. This brings to four the number of suspects arrested in connection with the incident so far.
The Ghana Police Service assured the public that investigations into the Adabraka Gold Jewellery Shop robbery are ongoing and reiterated its commitment to bringing all those involved to justice.
In a related development, Inspector General of Police (IGP) Christian Tetteh Yohuno has promoted 35 officers for their role in the arrest of the suspects.
