The 18th round of the 2025/26 Ghana Premier League delivered a series of compelling encounters across the country, with several teams making decisive moves in the standings.
On Friday, Eleven Wonders claimed a 2-0 victory over Basake Holy Stars at the University of Ghana Stadium, thanks to a brace from Rauf Munah.
Saturday saw Hearts of Oak edge past Hohoe United 1-0 at the Hohoe Stadium, with Mawuli Wayo’s late strike securing the three points for the Phobian Club.
Sunday produced some thrilling action. Aduana FC came from behind to beat Karela United 2-1 at Nana Agyemang Badu I Park. The visitors initially took the lead through an own goal in the 27th minute, but Alex Boakye converted a penalty four minutes later to level the scores. With the match seemingly heading for a draw, Charles Gyamfi Kamara scored deep into added time to clinch the win for the ‘Ogya’ lads.
At Nana Fosu Gyeabour Park, Bechem United edged defending champions Bibiani GoldStars 1-0, courtesy of Augustine Okrah’s 15th-minute strike.
Dreams FC continued their fine form with a 3-0 triumph over Heart of Lions at the Tuba Astro Turf. John Antwi opened the scoring just before halftime, Collins Boah doubled the lead in the 52nd minute, and Adams Aminu wrapped up the victory in the 60th.
Medeama SC also recorded a convincing 3-0 win, defeating Young Apostles. Kamaradini Mamudu struck twice in the first half, with Prince Owusu adding a third in the 86th minute.
Elsewhere, FC Samartex and Vision FC played out a goalless draw at the Nsenkyire Sports Arena. Swedru All Blacks were held 1-1 by Nations FC at the Swedru Stadium. After Suweidu Sulemana put the visitors ahead in the 81st minute, Zayat Bubakari’s late strike rescued a point for the home side. At Baba Yara Stadium, Asante Kotoko were held to a 0-0 draw by Berekum Chelsea.
Following Matchday 18, Medeama SC, Bibiani GoldStars, Aduana FC, and Asante Kotoko occupy the top four positions, while Berekum Chelsea, Hohoe United, and Eleven Wonders remain in the relegation zone.
