The Ajet-Nasam family has once again brought joy to the inmates at Kete-Krachi prison in the Oti Region by donating First Aid drugs, two industrial sewing machines, a BP apparatus, and a large cow for a Christmas celebration.
This donation was made in fulfillment of his recent visit to Kete-Krachi prison in September 2025, during which he promised to support improvements in the inmates’ living conditions to facilitate their reintegration.
During the presentation, John Ajet-Nasam reaffirmed his commitment to supporting the prison and creating opportunities for inmates to reform and reintegrate.
The provision of the cow would provide a good meal for inmates during the festivities who have been lacking nutritious food due to inadequate support from the government and individuals.

He emphasized the importance of rehabilitation and integrated programs for inmates nationwide, drawing on his experience within the judicial system.
Ajet-Nasam noted that Christmas reminds us of love, sacrifice, sharing, and compassion, and these values should reach everyone, including those in prison.
He stated that inmates remain an important part of society and that kindness is essential, emphasizing that vulnerable groups, including prisoners, deserve to feel valued and remembered during festive occasions.
Inspiring them to look toward a better future, Ajet-Nasam encouraged inmates not to define their lives solely by past mistakes but to reform.

He urged them to take advantage of vocational tools available to them and to seek training during their time in prison to rebuild their lives.
The former High Court judge commended the prison officers at Kete-Krachi for their dedication to rehabilitation, highlighting their role in equipping inmates with skills for successful reintegration into society.
Chief Superintendent Emmanuel Nyatuame of Kete-Krachi Prison expressed gratitude, stating that the donation comes at a crucial time, especially during the holiday season.
He praised the Ajet-Nasam family’s longstanding tradition of community service and philanthropy, emphasizing that fulfilling their promise reflects a strong commitment to supporting inmates’ reintegration.
The prison commander acknowledged that the donation will be highly beneficial and assured that they will utilize these resources effectively.
