Former U.S. President Barack Obama has once again shared his annual list of favorite music for 2025, spotlighting tracks from global stars across genres.
Notably, African artists Burna Boy, Olamide, and Asake made the cut, cementing the growing influence of African music on the world stage.
The compilation, part of a tradition Obama began during his presidency, features hits like Burna Boy’s Tatata, Olamide’s 99 (featuring Daecolm, Seyi Vibez, Asake, and Young Jonn), and Pasayadan by Ganavya.
Other international artists including Lady Gaga, Kendrick Lamar, BLACKPINK, and Rosalía also made appearances on the list.
