The Central Regional Police Command has launched an investigation into the alleged theft of GH¢100,000 involving a former supervisor of Reliance Oil Company Limited’s filling station in Winneba.

The suspect, identified as Christian Dadzie Brown, is accused of embezzling the amount during his tenure as the station’s supervisor.

According to police, a routine audit conducted by the company on December 1, 2025, revealed a shortfall of GH¢100,000, believed to have been misappropriated by Brown.

When confronted by auditors, the suspect reportedly claimed he was going to the washroom but instead fled through the back door, scaled the station’s fence, and escaped.

He remains at large, and police are actively pursuing his arrest.

The Central Regional Police Command has appealed to residents of Winneba and surrounding communities to provide credible information that could lead to Brown’s capture.

Anyone with relevant information is urged to assist authorities in their ongoing investigations.
