Clinton Yeboah of Luv FM, a subsidiary of the Multimedia Group Limited has once again been named Best Student Journalist at the 29th Ghana Journalists Association (GJA) Media Awards, marking a remarkable consecutive win.
Last year, he earned the award for his work as a student journalist while pursuing his studies at Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), producing insightful and investigative stories that demonstrated strong storytelling and research skills.
This year, he has won the accolade again for his investigative piece, “The Cost Barrier: Underfunded NHIS Leaves Patients Stranded at Hospitals”, which examines the challenges patients face due to gaps in Ghana’s National Health Insurance Scheme.
The story was recognized for its professionalism, clarity, and social impact, shedding light on the challenges ordinary Ghanaians encounter when trying to access healthcare.
Clinton Yeboah’s back-to-back victories underscore his consistency and talent as an emerging journalist, reflecting both his dedication to the craft and the MGL’s continued commitment to nurturing young media talent.
