NPP race: Ken Agyapong will prioritise grassroots if elected – Dr. Amoah [Audio]

-

A member of Kennedy Agyapong’s campaign strategy team and Member of Parliament for Nhyiaeso, Dr. Stephen Amoah, popularly known as Sticka, has expressed confidence that the New Patriotic Party (NPP) will return to power in the 2028 elections under the leadership of the former Assin Central MP.

Speaking in an interview on Adom FM’s Dwaso Nsem morning show, Dr. Amoah praised Kennedy Agyapong’s long-standing dedication and financial commitment to the NPP, describing him as the party’s most loyal and longest-serving member among the presidential aspirants.

“Ken started financing the NPP from 1992. Among all the aspirants, he is the longest-serving member. The only person who comes close to him is Kwabena Agyapong,” he said.

According to Dr. Amoah, one of the biggest challenges of the NPP has been the failure of presidents to connect with and support the grassroots once they assume power — a problem, he said, Kennedy Agyapong has developed a clear framework to fix.

“One major challenge of our party is that when someone becomes president, they forget the grassroots. But Ken has developed a very nice framework that ensures those who have worked for the party over the years are recognized and supported,” he noted.

He revealed that Kennedy Agyapong is currently developing a comprehensive database to identify and provide job opportunities for long-serving party members.

“Ken is creating a database to capture people who have worked for the NPP for a very long time so they can be given jobs first. He always wants to take care of his people before anything else,” he explained.

Dr. Amoah added that Kennedy Agyapong’s leadership vision is divinely inspired, stressing that his presidency would transform the lives of many.

“What God is using Ken to do when he becomes president is not just by chance — it’s a vision, and he must make sure he gets it done,” he stated.
