Deputy Education Minister and Builsa South MP, Dr. Clement Apaak, has announced the passing of his father, John Azundam Apaak.
Senior Apaak passed away in the early hours of Tuesday, November 4, 2025, at the Bolgatanga Regional Hospital.
Dr. Apaak confirmed the loss in a Facebook post, noting that his father, affectionately called “Baba,” had celebrated his 81st birthday on October 25, 2025.
He described his father as a man of faith and a Deeper Life pastor, adding that the church has been informed. The family, however, has requested privacy during this difficult time.
Dr. Apaak also asked for prayers for his 76-year-old wife, his children, and grandchildren as they navigate the loss.
Following Dr. Apaak’s announcement, commiseration messages have begun pouring in in honour of his late father.
