The Presidency has expressed deep sorrow and regret over the death of former First Lady, Nana Konadu Agyeman-Rawlings.
The widow of the late former President, Jerry John Rawlings, passed on Thursday, October 23, 2025.
A statement signed by the Minister of Government Communications, Felix Kwakye Ofosu, confirmed that she passed after a short illness.
The statement further extended condolences to the founder of the 31st December Women’s Movement and National Democratic Party (NDP).
Meanwhile, scores of Ghanaians have taken to social media to mourn the former First Lady.
