Victory Bible Church International celebrates 40 years of global impact and transformation

Victory Bible Church International (VBCI), one of Ghana’s leading charismatic ministries, has announced activities to mark its 40th anniversary celebration under the theme “40 Years of Raising the Foundations of Many Generations.”

The milestone event, which coincides with this year’s Wonderful Jesus Campaign, will take place at the Independence Square in Accra on Friday, October 31, and Sunday, November 2, 2025.

Founded in 1985 by Bishop N. A. Tackie-Yarboi, VBCI has grown from a small fellowship into a global network of over 500 branches across Africa, Europe, the Americas, and Asia, with a membership of more than 100,000. The church is renowned for its evangelism, leadership training, and extensive humanitarian work, including educational scholarships, health initiatives, and social interventions.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, the church supported over 2,000 households in Awoshie and surrounding communities with food and essential items. It continues to partner with hospitals such as Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital to strengthen healthcare delivery in Ghana.

As part of the anniversary, VBCI will hold a Corporate Thanksgiving Service, community outreach projects, and a grand night of worship featuring gospel artists, the church choir, and the premiere of a 10-minute documentary chronicling the church’s four-decade journey.

Reflecting on the milestone, Bishop Tackie-Yarboi expressed gratitude to God for His faithfulness, stating, “This celebration is not just about our past; it is about rekindling the vision for a greater future.” He encouraged Christians to take up leadership and policy roles to influence positive change in national development.

Victory Bible Church International remains committed to its mission of “Raising the Foundations of Many Generations”—bringing spiritual renewal and empowerment to individuals and communities worldwide.
