The Office of the Special Prosecutor (OSP) says it is intensifying efforts to bring suspected corruption offenders to justice, with several cases already before the courts and more expected before the end of 2025.
Among the cases highlighted by the OSP are those involving former National Petroleum Authority (NPA) Chief Executive Mustapha Abdul-Hamid and nine others, as well as former Public Procurement Authority (PPA) boss Adjenim Boateng Adjei, former presidential staffer Charles Bissue, and two others.
In a post shared on its official Facebook page, the anti-corruption agency revealed that it is currently handling multiple prosecutions on behalf of the public, adding that “additional cases will be filed in the final quarter of the year.”
According to the OSP, seven individuals have been convicted so far this year through plea bargains, an outcome the office described as progress in its ongoing drive to investigate and prosecute corruption and related offences.
The statement coincides with the reopening of the courts after their annual break, marking the continuation of several high-profile corruption cases that have drawn national attention.
The Office reiterated its commitment to ensuring accountability and transparency in public life and pledged to continue its work without fear or favour.
