Teaching and learning have been brought to a halt at the Kutre No. 1 Presbyterian Basic School in the Berekum Municipality after unknown persons defecated within the school premises.
The Headmaster, Emmanuel Ofori Yaw, described the act as disturbing, noting that this is the second time such an incident has occurred this term, with similar cases recorded in previous terms.
According to him, the situation has created an unpleasant environment, making it impossible for teachers and pupils to begin lessons.
He has therefore appealed to community leaders and local authorities to help identify and bring the culprits to book.
Some concerned youth in the area have also vowed to take steps to protect the school, warning that anyone caught engaging in such acts in the future will face the consequences.
